Autumn Artisan's Fair

Did my first art fair yesterday. It was, of course, a great learning experience. The biggest thing I learned was, it's easier to forgive the person who stole my lovely holiday bracelet I sweat over than it is to forgive myself for not enough vigilance. Yeah, I get it that stealing the bracelet was her stuff and I was as vigilant as a person should be. I didn't want to scare people away with my B.A.R. ya know. (The first person who guesses what B.A.R. means to me in this context, can win a set of bracelets--picked by me.) Anyway, I was sad because it happened at the very end of the show and up until then, I was quite happy. I'm also sad for someone who finds the need to steal for any reason.

Happily, I am left with the matching earrings and so I think I'll remake the bracelet and all will be well with the world. :-)

Remember: buy local. Craft fairs are filled with local. Give a few gifts that are made by local artisans. We'll love you for it.

Have a happy week.

Love ya all!
